Ambrosia - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

Ambrosia is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1970 by guitarist/vocalist David Pack, bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, keyboardist Christopher North, and drummer Burleigh Drummond. Originally from Southern California's South Bay area, the group drew influences from progressive rock acts like King Crimson and the Beach Boys, blending symphonic art rock with pop elements in a melodic prog style. They signed with 20th Century Fox Records in 1975, releasing their self-titled debut album featuring the Top 20 single 'Holdin' on to Yesterday,' which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Recording. The band's Warner Bros. debut, Life Beyond L.A. (1978), included the #1 hit 'How Much I Feel,' followed by Top 40 singles like 'You're the Only Woman (You & I)' and 'Biggest Part of Me.' North left in 1977, reducing the core lineup to a trio. Ambrosia achieved five Top 40 hits between 1975 and 1980. They reformed in the late 1990s and continue to perform live, often with additions like guitarist Doug Jackson and vocalist Kipp Lennon, delivering their harmony-rich catalog.
