AniMe is the stage name of Barbara Palermo, an Italian hardcore DJ and producer. She began DJing in the late 1990s and adopted the AniMe name after joining Traxtorm Records in 2007. Her work is associated with the hardcore and gabber scenes, and she has released albums and singles within hard dance music. AniMe has performed at major electronic festivals and hardcore events including Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival, Dominator, Mysteryland, Masters of Hardcore, Defqon.1, and Syndicate. She is known for fast, high-energy sets and for representing the Italian hardcore scene internationally. In 2025, she launched her label ABSOLUTE RECORDS.
