Beck - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

Beck (born Beck David Hansen, July 8, 1970, in Los Angeles, California) is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. He emerged in the early 1990s from the Los Angeles underground scene, initially recording low‑budget, sample‑heavy material before signing with DGC Records and releasing his major‑label debut, Mellow Gold (1994), which featured the breakout single "Loser." His work is characterized by a mix of rock, folk, hip‑hop, funk, electronica, and pop, often arranged through collage‑like production and oblique, ironic lyrics. Beck has released multiple studio albums, including Odelay (1996), Sea Change (2002), Modern Guilt (2008), Morning Phase (2014), and Colors (2017). Morning Phase won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2015, and several of his albums have received Grammy recognition in alternative and rock categories. In concert, he is known for shifting between acoustic and full‑band arrangements, drawing from across his catalog and emphasizing his eclectic songwriting and genre‑blending approach.
