Benny Benassi is the stage name of Italian DJ and producer Marco Benassi, born in Milan in 1967 and associated with Reggio Emilia, Italy. He began DJing in the late 1980s and later worked in production, including early releases under the name KMC and collaborations with his cousin Alle Benassi as Benassi Bros. He is known for electro-house and related electronic styles, with "Satisfaction" (2002) becoming his best-known international hit. His 2003 debut solo album, "Hypnotica," helped establish his profile in the European dance music scene. Benassi has also released remix work and collaborated with vocalists and other artists, and his live performances are centered on DJ sets rather than conventional band performance.
