Beto Cuevas - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

Luis Alberto 'Beto' Cuevas Olmedo, born September 12, 1967, in Santiago, Chile, joined the Chilean rock band La Ley in 1988 after meeting drummer Mauricio Clavería. Raised in Montréal, Canada, following his family's escape from Pinochet's dictatorship, Cuevas debuted on La Ley's first full-length album Desiertos (1989) and contributed to their breakthrough Doble Opuesto (1990), featuring a cover of the Rolling Stones' 'Angie'. The band achieved success with albums like Invisible (1995), Uno (2000), Libertad (2003), and MTV Unplugged (2001), earning Grammy and Latin Grammy awards. La Ley disbanded in 2005, prompting Cuevas to launch a solo career with Miedo Escénico (2008), including the single 'Vuelvo', followed by Transformación (2012), another Grammy winner blending Latin pop-rock with hip-hop elements. La Ley reformed later for new material. Cuevas is known for live performances marked by high energy and audience engagement, drawing from his extensive touring experience across Latin America, the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
