Camila is a Mexican pop rock band formed in 2005 by Mario Domm (composer, singer, producer from Coahuila), Samuel 'Samo' Parra (vocalist from Veracruz), and Pablo Hurtado (guitarist from San Luis Potosí). The group debuted with the album Todo Cambió in 2006, featuring the hit single 'Abrázame,' which gained airplay success across Latin America. Their second album, Dejarte de Amar (2010), earned three Latin Grammy Awards, including Best Album by a Group or Duo and Best Recording for 'Mientes.' Samo departed in 2013 to pursue a solo career, leaving Domm and Hurtado to release Elypse (2014), nominated for Best Latin Pop Album at the Grammys, and Hacia adentro (2019). In 2023, they released the single 'Fugitivos,' marking Samo's return. Camila's music blends soft rock and Latin pop elements, known for romantic ballads performed in live settings across Mexico and Latin America.
