Julieta Emilia Cazzuchelli, known professionally as Cazzu, was born on December 16, 1993, in Ledesma, Jujuy, Argentina. She began her career singing cumbia and folk under the name Juli K, later transitioning to urban genres including reggaeton, hip-hop, and trap as an independent artist. Her debut album, Maldade$ (2017), marked her entry into the Latin trap scene, followed by Error 93 (2019), Bonus Trap EP (2020), Una Niña Inútil, Nena Trampa, and Latinaje (2025), which incorporates Andean folk elements. Cazzu gained prominence with the 2018 single 'Loca,' a collaboration with Khea and Duki, elevated by a remix featuring Bad Bunny. Her music addresses female empowerment and romantic disillusionment, earning her recognition in Argentina's urban scene. She received a 2020 Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist and opened for Bad Bunny at Luna Park in Buenos Aires. Cazzu performs with an alter ego persona described as a superhero figure, delivering unapologetic energy in live settings within the male-dominated trap genre.
