Chasing Abbey is an Irish electronic music trio formed in Tullamore, County Offaly, in 2016 by childhood friends Ronan Bell, Jonathan Byrne, and Ted Conway. The group emerged from school projects encouraged by their music teacher, initially playing traditional Irish music before blending it with house and dance production in their studio, Penthouse Productions. Their debut single 'That Good Thing' (2017) topped Irish iTunes charts, became the most Shazamed song in Ireland, and won RTÉ's Choice Music Prize for Song of the Year, leading to a deal with 3 Beat UK and Universal Music Group. The EP The Odyssey Project (2019) reached number one on the Irish Music Charts and received positive reviews from Billboard. In 2023, they signed with Warner and Spinnin' Records following 'Oh My Johnny'. Known for their energetic live performances fusing trad house elements, they have supported acts including Enrique Iglesias, The Chainsmokers, and Rita Ora.
