Chris Janson is an American country music singer-songwriter born April 2, 1986, in Perryville, Missouri. He moved to Nashville at 16 and spent years as a songwriter before breaking through with his 2015 hit 'Buy Me a Boat,' which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Known for his high-energy live performances and multi-instrumentalist skills, Janson plays harmonica, guitar, piano, and banjo. His albums include 'Buy Me a Boat' (2015), 'Everybody' (2017), 'Real Friends' (2019), and 'All In' (2022). He is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, inducted in 2018.
