Close Enemies is a rock band formed in September 2024 by Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, following Aerosmith's retirement from touring. The lineup includes Hamilton on bass, Tony Brock on drums (formerly of The Babys and Rod Stewart), guitarists Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow) and Trace Foster (guitar tech for AC/DC and Aerosmith), vocalist Chasen Hampton (ex-Mickey Mouse Club), and lyricist Gary Stier. The band plays hard rock, drawing on the members' extensive rock backgrounds. Close Enemies debuted live on October 11, 2024, at Eastside Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, performing original tracks from their upcoming album and Aerosmith covers. Their first single, 'Sound of a Train,' was released on January 17, 2025, with touring commencing in early 2025. The band's shows feature a mix of new material and high-energy rock performances.
