Codiciado, born Erick de Jesús Aragón Alcantar on February 19, 1993, in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, co-founded Grupo Codiciado in 2015 as lead vocalist. The band released their debut album Si Lo Digo Es Por Que Puedo that year and gained recognition with songs like “Gente De Accionar” and “El Disney.” He launched a solo career in 2021 following the group's separation, blending traditional and contemporary regional Mexican music, including banda and corridos that address immigrant life, love, struggles, and cultural pride. Solo releases include the 2022 collaboration “Bélico El Asunto” with Grupo Arriesgado and “Vamos Aclarando Muchas Cosas,” which has over 201 million YouTube views. He prepares to release No Lo Intenten En Casa Vol. 2, continuing the corrido style of his former band. In 2024, Codiciado conducted his first solo U.S. tour, Ando Enfocado, performing at venues across cities like Houston, Phoenix, and Fresno.
