Coone is the stage name of Koen Bauweraerts, a Belgian hardstyle DJ and producer from Turnhout. He began producing and mixing music as a teenager and released his first EP, Protect the Innocent, in 2002 under the alias The Artist Also Known As. He later became known in the hardstyle scene for releases, remixes, and live sets built around harder dance styles. His career includes founding the Dirty Workz label and performing as a resident DJ at Complex in Sint-Niklaas. He has also organized club events under the Coone & the Gang name and released work through a range of hardstyle and dance-oriented projects. He is associated with the electronic music category, specifically hardstyle.
