Crankdat - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

Christian Smith, born March 2, 1997, in Ohio, is an American DJ and electronic dance music producer known professionally as Crankdat. He began producing music in high school, uploading remixes to SoundCloud, including a viral version of Fetty Wap's 'Trap Queen' in 2015 that gained support from artists like Skrillex and The Chainsmokers. Smith declined a full-ride track-and-field scholarship to Kent State University to focus on music. Crankdat's style blends dubstep, electro-house, and melodic bass, evident in singles like 'Dollars' (2017), 'STFU,' and collaborations such as 'I Hold Still' with Jauz, 'Big Bang' with DJ Snake, and 'Falling To Pieces' with Marshmello. He has released tracks on labels including Monstercat, with debuts like 'Kneel Before Me' (2018) featuring SLANDER and Asking Alexandria. His live performances feature custom visuals, unreleased tracks, and high-energy sets at festivals including EDC, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland.
