Daisy Grenade is a duo from New York City, formed in 2021 by Dani Nigro and Keaton Whittaker, who met through musical theater. Previously known as Make Your Son Famous, the band draws from '90s grunge, 2000s pop-punk, and bubblegrunge styles, blending raw vulnerability with polished vocals and themes of female rage and angst. Their debut EP Sophomore Slump (2022) was produced by Alex Suarez and includes a song written by Pete Wentz, who also served as mentor and executive producer on their first two EPs. The 2023 EP Cult Classic, re-released via Public Consumption / DCD2 Records with production by Courtney Ballard, features seven tracks. They signed with Atlantic Records and released singles like “So Happy” and a collaboration “Liquor And Kerosene” with The Maine. Daisy Grenade has toured with Pierce the Veil, Sleeping with Sirens, and Fall Out Boy, delivering high-energy performances noted for unhinged expression and theatrical flair rooted in their backgrounds.
