Death Lens is a punk band from East Los Angeles formed in 2011, initially as a surf instrumental group before solidifying their punk identity in 2015. The band comprises Bryan Torres (vocals), Jhon Reyes (guitar), Matt Silva (guitar), Ed Contreras (bass), and Tony Rangel (drums). Their sound blends West Coast surf-influenced punk with post-hardcore elements, incorporating synthesizers and tight guitar work. Death Lens released their debut album Fuck This in 2016, followed by No Luck in 2022 and Cold World in 2024 on Epitaph Records. Known for addressing social and political themes in their lyrics, the band has built a following through extensive touring across Southern California and beyond. Live performances are characterized by high-energy delivery that contrasts with their refined studio recordings.
