DECEITS is a Los Angeles post-punk band co-founded in late 2021 by longtime friends Kevin Moreno and Francisco Saenz. The trio’s sound is rooted in post-punk and draws on deathrock, hardcore punk, dreampop, new wave, and Spanish-language musical influences, which the band describes as “passionate post-punk.” The band released its debut studio album, If There’s No Heaven…, independently in November 2023 after issuing a series of well-received singles. DECEITS has built a following in the goth and alternative underground, and their live profile has included U.S. touring, a headline show at El Rey Theater in Los Angeles, and an invitation to perform at the 2025 Cruel World Festival.
