Desert Daze is not a musical artist or band but a music festival founded by Phil Pirrone in 2011, evolving from the Moon Block Party in Southern California. Initially held as a block party, it expanded to an 11-day event in 2012 at Desert Hot Springs, later moving to sites like Sunset Ranch Oasis in Mecca and Lake Perris Recreation Area in Moreno Valley. The festival features diverse lineups including psychedelic rock acts such as King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Tame Impala, and Brian Jonestown Massacre, alongside experimental hip-hop, funk, and other genres.
