DJ_Dave is an experimental electropop artist, producer, and DJ recognized for integrating live coding into music production and performance. She began coding in 2019 during a web design class and soon adopted live coding tools like Sonic Pi, bypassing traditional DAWs to create and perform music through code. Transitioning from fashion studies, she has released tracks such as 'Castles' and 'Naive,' with remixes for artists including Tove Lo, Channel Tres, and Uffie. DJ_Dave has performed at venues like The Whitney Museum, Coachella, Grimes’ MET Gala afterparty, and supported acts including Shygirl, Empress Of, and SBTRKT. Her live shows uniquely combine live coding and DJ mixing, as showcased in events like INTERFACE01 and her 2024 'Always Learning Tour,' which included college workshops and a TEDx Talk at Cornell University. In June 2025, she signed with Circuit Group for management while self-releasing music.
