Elijah Scott is a country singer-songwriter from Banning, California, raised by a single mother in an environment influenced by gang culture. He began making music around age 15, drawing from country legends like Johnny Cash, Chris Stapleton, and Toby Keith, whose concert he attended early on, while incorporating elements of James Brown. Emerging in 2024, he gained notice through social media with his breakout single 'Cigarettes,' inspired by a personal moment with his mother, and covers like 'Bury My Bones.' Scott blends traditional country and Americana storytelling with bluesy grit, urban influences, and a modern hip-hop twist, delivered through raspy vocals. Notable releases include 'Turnin Into Something' (2025, produced by Murda Beatz), 'Somethin Bout You,' 'Let Her Go,' and 'Take Me Home.' Signed to an independent label after viral success, he performs with a powerful, engaging style highlighted in videos and freestyles like 'Live From The Rooftop.'
