Ella Red is an alternative pop singer-songwriter from Frisco, Texas, born on September 3, 2003. She began playing piano at age six, self-taught on the family instrument, and later learned guitar and cello, performing in school orchestras. She started writing lyrics seriously during high school amid personal challenges. Her debut single 'Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is' in 2024 received significant radio play, including over 1,100 spins on KTCL in Denver, and led to opening slots for Lovejoy, Colony House, Kelsy Karter, Princess Chelsea, and Ellise. The track 'I Like You Best' gained viral attention and over 1 million YouTube views. In 2025, she signed with Nettwerk Music Group and released her debut album IT'S NOT REAL, featuring singles like 'Ball and Chain,' 'Funeral,' and 'Parasite.' Ella Red incorporates cello into her music and is known for live performances that evolved from initial stage fright to sold-out shows, such as a 3,500-capacity crowd in Denver in 2023 and her first headlining tour in 2026.
