Foxtide is a band from San Diego, Southern California, formed by friends who met through School of Rock and bonded over covers of Rush and progressive rock before writing original material around 2018. The lineup has included Elijah Gibbins-Croft on vocals and guitar, Oey James (Orion) on bass, and drummers such as Ethan, Ian Robles, Dom Friedly, and Riley Conway, evolving from a three-piece to a four-piece. Their style blends indie rock, psych rock, surf rock, jazz, and pop elements, developed through garage jam sessions and DIY house shows. The band released their debut EP Blind in January 2019, followed by a debut album in 2021, singles like 'Already Gone,' and a second album Chaos in December 2024. They have toured, including a first headline tour in 2024-2025 and festival appearances like Shabang. Foxtide performs dynamic live sets with expressive stage presence, mixing originals, covers, and tracks from recent releases in intimate venues.
