Hawthorne Heights - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

Hawthorne Heights formed in Dayton, Ohio, in 2001 as A Day in the Life, changing their name in 2003. The band blends post-hardcore, emo, and pop-punk elements, characterized by clean vocals alternating with screamed sections. Their debut album, The Silence in Black and White (2004), achieved RIAA gold status, driven by the hit 'Ohio Is for Lovers,' while If Only You Were Lonely (2006) reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and also went gold. The group faced tragedy in 2007 with the death of guitarist Casey Calvert from an accidental medication overdose. Founding members JT Woodruff (vocals, guitar) and Matt Ridenour (bass, vocals) continue with Mark McMillon (guitar, unclean vocals) and Chris 'Poppy' Popadak (drums). They founded Cardboard Empire Records after leaving Victory and have maintained an active touring schedule, sharing stages with acts like New Found Glory. Hawthorne Heights remains known for consistent live performances, sustaining a dedicated fan base through relentless touring over two decades.
