Heart - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington, in the early 1970s, evolving from bands including The Army (1967), White Heart (1970), and Hocus Pocus. Bassist Steve Fossen and guitarist Roger Fisher were founding members; Ann Wilson joined in 1972 after the band relocated to Vancouver, Canada, followed by her sister Nancy Wilson in 1974 on guitar and vocals. The group blends hard rock, folk, and acoustic elements, with Ann's powerful vocals and Nancy's guitar work central to their sound. Their debut album Dreamboat Annie (1976) featured hits 'Magic Man' and 'Crazy on You.' Little Queen (1977) included 'Barracuda,' while later releases like Magazine (1978) and Dog & Butterfly (1978) produced 'Heartless' and 'Straight On.' Heart achieved commercial success through the 1970s and 1980s with an arena rock style. They are known for dynamic live performances emphasizing guitar-driven energy and vocal harmonies.
