Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

The Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival is an annual music festival held at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Established in 1979 by Hugh Hefner and producer George Wein to commemorate Playboy magazine's 25th anniversary, the festival marked the second iteration of Hefner's jazz festival concept, which had debuted in Chicago two decades earlier. The festival presented performances from prominent jazz musicians and related genres across multiple decades. The Los Angeles Philharmonic assumed presenting duties in 2014. The event was rebranded as the Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival in 2022, following a pandemic-related hiatus.
