Iceage is a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2008 by Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, Johan Suurballe Wieth, Jakob Tvilling Pless, and Dan Kjær Nielsen. The group first gained wider attention with its debut album, New Brigade (2011), and later released You’re Nothing (2013), Plowing Into the Field of Love (2014), Beyondless (2018), Seek Shelter (2021), and For Love of Grace & the Hereafter (2026). The band’s sound is rooted in punk rock and is often described as spanning post-punk, hardcore punk, noise rock, and related rock styles. Early coverage noted the band’s brief, intense songs and its mix of hardcore energy with a more experimental approach, while later summaries describe a more multifaceted songwriting style. Live, Iceage is known for an expressive, physical performance style and for building a cult following while still in their teens.
