Josiah Queen, born January 11, 2003, in New Port Richey, Florida, began writing worship songs at age nine after becoming a Christian at a youth conference in Kansas City. Raised by pastor parents, he joined his church's worship team as a teenager, leading music from age 13, and gained initial traction posting acoustic originals on TikTok while working as a church janitor and at a car wash. His 2020 debut single 'God of Miracles' preceded the 2023 breakout 'I Am Barabbas,' which charted on Billboard's Hot Christian Songs and amassed millions of views. Queen's debut album topped the Billboard Christian Albums chart, marking the biggest debut in its history; singles like 'The Prodigal' and 'Dusty Bibles' (a Billboard Hot 100 hit and Gold-certified) followed. He earned Billboard's #1 New Christian Artist of 2024, K-LOVE Fan Award and Dove Award nominations. Known for intimate acoustic worship performances drawing from Biblical narratives, Queen headlines sold-out U.S. tours like the 2024 Prodigal Tour across 24 cities. He travels with his wife Trinity, who shares the gospel mid-set.
