JOYRYDE is the stage name of Jon Ford, an English DJ and producer born in 1985. He began releasing music under the JOYRYDE name in 2015 after earlier work in electronic music under other aliases and as part of the duo Lets Be Friends. His productions are centered on bass-heavy house and related electronic styles, with influences that include garage, trap, grime, and dubstep. He has released tracks such as “Hot Drum,” “Damn,” and “AGEN WIDA,” the latter a collaboration with Skrillex. In 2020, he released his debut full-length album, Brave. As a live act, JOYRYDE is known for DJ sets built around high-energy electronic music and for appearances at electronic festivals and club events.
