KCON is not a musical artist or band but an annual convention and music festival focused on Korean pop culture. It was founded in 2012 by Koreaboo and CJ E&M, with its first event held in Southern California, featuring artists such as 4Minute, B.A.P, EXO-M, NU’EST, VIXX, and G.NA, attracting over 20,000 attendees. The event has expanded globally to ten countries by 2022, combining K-pop performances, fan interactions, and cultural exhibits. KCON is known for showcasing a range of Korean artists across genres like K-pop and hip-hop, with past lineups including Chung Ha, Dynamic Duo, and Jackson Wang.
