Man/Woman/Chainsaw is a London-based five-piece led by Billy Ward and Vera Leppänen, who began playing together in secondary school and formed the band as teenagers. Their sound is described as alternative, art-punk, and noisy indie rock, built around grungy guitars, violin, synths, and multiple vocal parts. The band released its debut EP, Eazy Peazy, in 2024 on Fat Possum, following a run of singles that began with “Any Given Sunday” in 2022.
