Marky Ramone is the stage name of Marc Steven Bell, an American drummer from New York City. He began his career in the New York hard rock and punk scenes before joining the Ramones in 1978, replacing Tommy Ramone. He played with the Ramones from 1978 to 1983 and again from 1987 until the band’s 1996 breakup, making him their longest-serving drummer. His work is associated with the band’s punk rock recordings and live performances, and he has also appeared in films and other music-related projects.
