Men I Trust is a Canadian indie band formed in 2014 in Quebec City by high school friends Dragos Chiriac on keyboards and Jessy Caron on guitar and bass, both graduates of Université Laval's music programs. Initially a duo producing electronic-inspired tracks with guest vocalists, the band added Emmanuelle Proulx as lead vocalist and guitarist in 2016 after featuring her on their album Headroom (2015). Their sound blends dream pop, indie pop, and elements of 2000s electronic music, characterized by smooth melodies, calm rhythms, and self-produced recordings. The band has independently released four studio albums: Men I Trust (2014), Headroom (2015), Oncle Jazz (2019), and Untourable Album (2021), along with EPs Men I Trust (2017) and Tailwhip (2018) on the Return to Analog label. They handle all aspects of recording, mixing, mastering, and music videos in-house. Live performances evolved from a studio project to a stable lineup supporting touring, including shows in China.
