Mereba is the stage name of Marian Azeb Mereba, an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. She was born in Montgomery, Alabama, and raised in Pennsylvania, and later became associated with Atlanta’s music scene. Her work has been described across R&B, soul, hip-hop, and alternative R&B contexts, with guitar-based songwriting and self-production playing a visible role in her early releases. She released independent EPs before her debut album, The Jungle Is the Only Way Out, in 2019. Mereba has also collaborated with Spillage Village, 6LACK, JID, Rapsody, and Vince Staples, and contributed to the soundtrack for Queen & Slim. Her live performances center on vocals, guitar, and songs drawn from her solo catalog and collaborations.
