Narrow Head is an American alternative rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 2013 by Jacob Duarte, later relocating to Houston. The band’s sound blends shoegaze, grunge, hard rock, and post-hardcore elements, with dense guitar arrangements and melodic vocals. The group released early EPs before their debut album, Satisfaction, in 2016. They signed with Run for Cover Records for 2020’s 12th House Rock and followed with Moments of Clarity in 2023. Narrow Head is known live for a heavy, layered guitar attack and songs built around contrast between abrasive distortion and more reflective melodies.
