Panchiko is an English alternative rock band formed in Nottingham in 1997 by school friends Owain Davies, Andy Wright, Shaun Ferreday, and John. The band recorded their debut EP D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L in 2000 using basic home equipment before disbanding in 2002. In 2016, a copy of the EP surfaced in a UK charity shop and was uploaded online, where it gained significant attention in internet music communities. The band reunited in 2019 and released their debut full-length album Failed at Math(s) in May 2023. Panchiko now performs as a five-piece with original members Davies, Wright, and Ferreday alongside guitarist Robert Harris and drummer John Schofield, having completed international tours since their reformation.
