Armando Christian Pérez, known as Pitbull, was born on January 15, 1981, in Miami, Florida, to Cuban immigrant parents. Raised in the Little Havana neighborhood, he graduated from Miami Coral Park High School in 1999 after developing an interest in hip-hop through street battle rapping and early performances reciting poetry. He adopted the stage name Pitbull, inspired by the tenacity of the dog breed, and entered the music scene with features on Lil Jon's 2002 album Kings of Crunk and the 2003 film soundtrack 2 Fast 2 Furious. Pitbull's style blends hip-hop, pop, and Latin influences, including Miami bass, with hits like 'Give Me Everything' and 'Timber.' His debut album M.I.A.M.I. arrived in 2004, followed by The Boatlift in 2007. He has earned a Grammy Award and a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Pitbull is recognized for high-energy live performances featuring party anthems and collaborations with artists such as Shakira and Marc Anthony.
