Shaun Cassidy - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

Shaun Cassidy is an American singer, actor, and television producer born September 27, 1958. He began his recording career in the mid-1970s while still in high school, signing with Warner Bros. Records and achieving commercial success with his 1977 debut album Shaun Cassidy, which reached number seven on the year's best-selling LPs chart. The album produced the number-one single "Da Doo Ron Ron" and earned him a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. His popularity peaked during the concurrent run of the ABC television series The Hardy Boys Mysteries (1977–1979), with subsequent albums Born Late and Under Wraps achieving multi-platinum status. Cassidy's recording career spanned six albums over four years, featuring a mix of 1960s covers and original compositions. His final album, Wasp (1980), marked a shift toward rock-oriented material produced by Todd Rundgren. After stepping back from live performance for four decades, Cassidy returned to touring in 2019 with a self-penned music and storytelling show, The Magic of a Midnight Sky, which sold out multiple venues including five consecutive nights at New York's 54 Below. He has since established a prolific career as a television writer and producer.
