SOB x RBE is a hip-hop group formed in Vallejo, California, consisting of four members who emphasize brotherhood and community in their music. Emerging from the West Coast rap scene, they gained attention with their self-titled debut project and followed it with the album Gangin, released in early 2018, which reflects life in the streets through frantic, upbeat beats and rapid flows influenced by Detroit styles. Their musical style features cocky, braggadocious lyrics over energetic production with prominent kicks and hi-hats, often focusing on loyalty among 'brothers' while maintaining a consistent, high-speed delivery. The group produces frequent releases that tweak their familiar sound without major deviation. Live, they are known for performances that embody their ride-or-die camaraderie, energizing audiences with their confident stage presence.
