Spacehog is an English alternative rock band formed in New York City in 1994 by brothers Royston Langdon and Antony Langdon, along with drummer Jonny Cragg and guitarist Richard Steel. The members were originally from Leeds, England, and the group developed a glam-influenced rock sound with alternative and pop elements. The band released its debut album, Resident Alien, in 1995, which included the single "In the Meantime." Spacehog followed with The Chinese Album in 1998 and The Hogyssey in 2001, and later reunited for additional activity after earlier split periods. In live settings, the band is known for performing material centered on its 1990s catalog, especially songs from Resident Alien and its follow-up releases.
