Static Dress is an English rock band from Leeds, West Yorkshire, formed in 2018. The band originally consisted of vocalist Olli Appleyard, drummer Sam Kay, guitarist Tom Black, and bassist Connor Reilly. Following lineup changes in 2021 and 2022, the current members are Appleyard on vocals, Vincent Weight on guitar, Sam Ogden on drums, and George Holding on bass. The band's sound blends post-hardcore and emo influences with melodic elements. They have released one full-length studio album, Injury Episode, along with multiple EPs and singles. Static Dress is known for their theatrical approach to music, incorporating visual storytelling through music videos and photography alongside their recorded output.
