Tedeschi Trucks Band is a 12-piece ensemble formed in 2010 by husband-and-wife musicians Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks in Jacksonville, Florida. The two met in 1999 when Tedeschi was opening for the Allman Brothers Band, where Trucks was a member. Their 2011 debut album, Revelator, won the Grammy Award for Best Blues Album. The band blends blues, Americana, and rock, anchored by Tedeschi's powerful vocals and Trucks' slide guitar work. Known for extended instrumental passages and dynamic live performances, the group features a rotating lineup of vocalists, horn players, and rhythm section musicians. The band has released five studio albums and multiple live recordings, maintaining an active touring schedule.
