The Australian Pink Floyd Show - Upcoming SoCal Concerts

The Australian Pink Floyd Show is a tribute band to Pink Floyd, formed in 1988 in Adelaide, South Australia, by guitarist Lee Smith, who placed an advertisement seeking musicians committed exclusively to playing Pink Floyd material. Initial members included drummer Grant Ross, bassist Trevor Turton, vocalist and guitarist Steve Mac, and keyboardist Jason Sawford. Originally named Think Floyd, the band rebranded as The Australian Pink Floyd Show before touring the UK in 1993, where they gained popularity through performances booked by Nick Mason's associate Bryan Povey. The band performs Pink Floyd's music with attention to sonic and visual replication, including laser shows, LED screens, inflatables like a pig and kangaroo, and collaborations with former Pink Floyd associates such as Lorelei McBroom. They have toured over 35 countries, performed at Glastonbury Festival in 1998, and staged full productions of albums like The Wall since 2008. Current members include Paul Bonney on drums and David Domminney Fowler on guitar and vocals. Known for extended live sets that recreate Pink Floyd concerts, the group has sold over 4 million tickets worldwide and maintains an international lineup from Australia, the UK, and beyond.
