The Front Bottoms are an American rock band formed in 2006 in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, by Brian Sella and Mat Uychich. Their sound is commonly described as indie rock or folk punk, with elements of pop, punk, and alternative rock, and their lyrics are noted for their witty, sometimes surreal style. The band first drew wider attention with its self-titled debut album in 2011, followed by releases such as Talon of the Hawk (2013) and Back on Top (2015).
