The Prize Fighter Inferno is a solo project of Claudio Sanchez, best known as the lead singer and guitarist of Coheed and Cambria. It began as an acoustic and electronica-leaning side project and has also been described as folktronica or alternative rock. The project first appeared in the 2000s and released its debut album, My Brother's Blood Machine, in 2006. The project has remained closely tied to Sanchez’s broader Amory Wars narrative, which connects his work across different releases. Its recorded output includes My Brother's Blood Machine, the EP Half Measures, and the 2021 album The City Introvert, along with later singles. Live performances were rare for many years, and the project began touring in 2024 with Sanchez and collaborator Chondra Echert.
