The Ries Brothers are a brother duo from Florida, consisting of Charlie Ries and Kevin Jordan Ries. They perform original music that blends rock, blues, funk, reggae, and related styles. Charlie sings lead vocals while also playing drums and keyboard bass, and Kevin plays guitar and contributes vocals and songwriting. The duo began performing as teenagers in the Tampa Bay/Clearwater area and released original recordings before expanding their live profile through regional touring. Their work includes the 2017 full-length album The View from the Outside and the 2020 album Paint Your Emotion. Live performances are centered on the brothers’ two-person setup, with Charlie handling multiple parts at once and Kevin adding guitar-based arrangements and harmonies.
