Two Friends is an American electronic music duo composed of Matt Halper and Eli Sones, both based in Los Angeles. The pair met in seventh grade at Brentwood School and formed Two Friends during their senior year of high school, developing the name together in a Senior Seminar class. They began producing hip-hop beats before transitioning to electronic music after experiencing the Sahara Tent at Coachella. The duo gained prominence through viral remixes, including tracks by The Killers, Blink-182, and Lana Del Rey, with their remix of Del Rey's "Born to Die" receiving rotation on SiriusXM's BPM station in 2014. Two Friends are known for their "Soul House" style, blending melodic house with live instrumentation. They have released original productions including collaborations with artists such as Bebe Rexha, Russell Dickerson, and Bryce Vine. The duo's signature Big Bootie Mix series, released regularly over a decade, has accumulated millions of streams across YouTube and SoundCloud.
