Vacations is an Australian indie rock band formed in 2015 in Newcastle, New South Wales, by vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Campbell Burns, alongside Jake Johnson, Nate Delizzotti, and Joseph Van Lier. Their music blends indie rock, psych-pop, lo-fi indie pop, and '80s alternative influences, featuring jangly guitars, chorus-heavy riffs, bright bass lines, and jazz-inflected drumming. The band released their album Changes in 2018 and Forever in Bloom in 2020, both showcasing dreamy, nostalgic melodies exploring themes of youth and personal growth. They have performed at venues including Fonda Theatre, House of Blues San Diego, and Lunario del Auditorio, where their live shows create an intimate yet energetic atmosphere through crowd engagement.
