Xavier Wulf, born Xavier Beard on October 24, 1992, in Memphis, Tennessee, began his career in rap around 2011 under the name Ethelwulf as a member of the Raider Klan collective, founded by SpaceGhostPurrp. He released his debut mixtape, The Wolf Gang’s Rodolphe, in 2012 before leaving the group in 2013 to pursue a solo path, adopting the name Xavier Wulf and dropping projects like Sitting Wulf EP and his first full-length album Project X in 2015. Wulf's style draws from Memphis rap influences such as Three 6 Mafia, featuring violent lyrics, rudimentary production, and a shift toward a melodic, nonchalant flow in later works like Blood Shore Season 1 (2014). Now based in Los Angeles, he co-founded the Seshollowaterboyz collective with Bones, Eddy Baker, and Chris Travis, and has released over fourteen projects, collaborating with artists including Smokepurrp, Lil Peep, and producers like Bighead and Tay Keith. Wulf has toured extensively, delivering performances tied to his underground hip-hop sound rooted in the SoundCloud era and Memphis traditions.
