Yachtley Crew is an American yacht rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 2017. The seven-piece group performs covers of 1970s and 1980s soft rock hits by artists such as Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Hall & Oates, and the Doobie Brothers. They signed with Jimmy Buffett's Mailboat Records in 2022 and released their debut album Seas the Day in 2023, produced by Chris Lord-Alge, followed by the EP Seas and Greetings. The band earned recognition as 2018's 'Best Cover Band' by OC Weekly. They have toured nationally since 2021, performing with original artists like Elliot Lurie of Looking Glass and Peter Beckett of Player. In live shows, members wear nautical attire including captain's hats and blazers, which has influenced audience dress and contributed to their themed presentation.
