Zedd is the stage name of Anton Zaslavski, a German record producer and DJ born in Saratov, Russia, in 1989 and raised in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He began piano training in early childhood, later learned drums, and moved into electronic music in 2009 after earlier work in a rock band. He is known for electronic and dance-pop productions that combine house, pop, and club-oriented elements. His 2012 album Clarity and the title track of the same name brought him wider recognition, and later releases include True Colors and Telos. In live settings, Zedd typically performs as a DJ and producer, presenting his own tracks and remixes in an electronic club context.
