HARD Summer is the Insomniac festival that never sat still. It began as HARD in Los Angeles in 2007 with a bass- and hip-hop-forward identity that set it apart from the house-and-trance world of Insomniac's other events, and its venue history reads like a tour of Southern California: Los Angeles, then Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, then the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, and, in recent years, back to Los Angeles where it started.
